I really want to add a 6 inch lift with 35's on my 06 1500 Hemi with 3.92 rear. Can anyone that did a lift on this truck tell me what kind of milage you are actually getting. Right now I am about 13-14 mpg. I know it will be a bit worse but how much worse?

I have the exact truck you have except it is an 8 foot bed.
2006 Dodge Ram SLT 4x4 Quad Cab 8 foot bed.3.92 gears.

I bought the truck used with 40k, I put one tank of gas through it with stock 31 tires. I got 15 mpg or so I calculated using the stock settings, so if there was any error in the odometer, that would not have shown.

I put on a Pro Comp Stage 2 6 inch Lift K2062BMX with MX2.75c Front Coil overs and MX6 rear shocks with blocks. $2100 I was told that 17" tires would not fit right so I put on Pro Comp 1079-8985 18x9 5x5.5 4.75" Back spacing wheels $350 and Pro Comp 305/70R18 Xtreme Mud Terrain 35" tires $1225. I also put a Cortex chip on it.
The Gas mileage after checking it against GPS for correct adjust is around 12 - 12.5 mpg with city/highway/off-road combined.

I do not know how accurate my first tank was but I lost around 2.5 - 3 mpg with the lift and tires. Hope that helps.

I was considering going to 4.56 gears to see if that improves the mileage. It certainly will give it better get-up-and-go but I am not expecting great results on gas mileage. Plus the cost certainly will never be saved with even a small increase in mileage.
Should have bought the diesel. It would have gotten much better, but

I have an '05 QC with 40k on the odo. It has a 6" Fabtec lift and 315/70/17 Explorer Pro Comp Xtreem Mud Terrain tires. Custom catbacks, Superchips 91 oct, and a K&N CAI.

Getting 13-14 mpg consistantly doing 60/40 highway/city driving.

Oh, and I'm fairly heavy with the go-pedal running 75 mph on the highway and teaching import truck drivers the value of buying American at each stop light.

I have a buddy that lives in Bonanza. He commonly refers to it as God's Country.
