I installed my Bilstein, BE5-6248-H5 rear shocks today. Install was straight forward, but the truck rear end still jumps around like it did prior installing the shocks. I'm pretty sure the fronts are done too, but that will have to wait for now. What am I missing here?

You drive a truck?  Not sure. My truck is stiff and has some hop to it. Not sure that I knew to not expect that. It's still bouncing like it was before I replaced the shocks. I know how a truck is supposed to drive. I drove 5 Ton trucks and Humvees for 5 years in the Army.

also... what offset are your rims? i recently figured out that my wheels are 3" offset (suppose to be 4-4.5" offset with a 9" wide wheel... this causes the "outside" of the rim/tire to carry more of the load/weight. The geometry is off, and it caused the truck to ride completely different.. in a bad way. It is also wearing the outside of the tires (front) at an alarming rate.

I honestly don't know what the springs looked like, originally, but there is some curvature to the springs, and the bottom"helper leaf(?)is pretty flat with about an inch of spacing between it, and the lower leafs. Wheels are 17X9 with 4.5" back spacing.
