At the risk of looking dumb, which way do the rear Bilsteins go in? Boot up or boot down. I put them in boot down, but saw them on a pic of a truck with the boots up. Which is right for my truck? I hope they are not wrong. Thanks.

With the Bilstein HD ones I put on a few months back, they go in boot up and body down as in the picture front and rear ..other Bilsteins may go in the opposite way for lifted applications.. PM Freeze he would know for sure

Ya I just went with the way the stickers were on them. The front ones only go on one way and thats with the boot down.

You can install them either way. Boot orientation doesn't really matter.

Hello to a fellow British Columbian!

Johnny, did the Bilsteins install as a direct swap or did you have to fiddle around with anything?
I have an 05 QC 4x4 and would like to upgrade before I put on some new tires before next winter.

Thanks in advance.

They bolted right in except for having to change the sleeves and bushings on the shocks before I installed them. They come with a 5/8 bolt hole/sleeve and our trucks require a 14mmm bolt hole. Freeze has all the part #'s. Ask him that's what I did. If you order the shocks, try Shock Warehouse online. I got mine from there in about 4 days from Florida!!! No duty either.
