Hit a pretty big pothole last night and heard and felt the truck just bottom out hard and realized the drivers side was sitting on the tire. Thought a flat but after stopping immediately and looking underneath I saw the torsion bar just hanging there! The damn keyway broke! Found it back about fifty feet in the road. Pay good money for something and you would figure it could withstand a pothole! I'm not going to slander anyone but buyer beware...you get what you pay for!

OUCH!!! Not all bad though. You can actually level the truck with the stock keyways. Thats what I did with mine. You will have to upgrade the shocks though, especially if you have bigger tires. Stock ones are junk.

Damn, that sucks, but it's a good thing you didn't wreck. Where did you buy the keyway?

For some reason I kept the stock keys so I put those back in. It got a little squirley but managed to keep it on the road. AIM Industries is where I got the keys. As you can see on their site they were only like 60 bucks. Should have known to spend a little more money on a little more reputable company.

AIM is a big no-no... only thing I buy from them are non critical, no mechanical items, and even that is a gamble. They have sold me such BS stuff and I dont think there is a time I havent had a problem with what they have sold me except for their aluminum lift blocks, those worked just fine for years. AIM=no bueno
