how many of you with a leveling kit haven't had any issues with a 1"-2" leveling kit on an 06-07 ram 1500 4x4???

seems like the 2.5" lift's have the biggest problems.

i'm looking at staying around 1.5" lift

Its the nature of some of the trucks,.. and I am positive it has to do with bad cv axles and angle.

I had my left cv axle replaced because it was too "tight" in the pivot member group. I am going to check my right side and complain,.. see if I can get that one changed as well,.. Seems like after they changed my left one, some of the vibration went away.

I am looking at changing from 2.5" ReadyLift to TGC 2" since I have some vibrations at low speeds in 4wd.
Will have to take 35" MTs off and go down to a little smaller AT. Im ok with that - hope it gets me a LITTLE more gas mileage.
I never checked to see if mine had the 4wd shakes at stock level but oh well- not going to go back to stock if I can help it! Visually I dont think the .5 inch drop will be much but I hope it decreases the problem some or completely...one site I saw did NOT recommend going over 1.5 or 2" MAX with this sort of thing. Im trying to have a moderately bad ass truck without messing up warranty (and gas mileage too much).
Will have a 2.5" readylift kit posted on craigslist as soon as I make the swap...

I have the 2.5in from top gun customz, and no problems at all 2wd or 4wd. Maybe I got lucky, but I 4 wheel the hell out of my truck and haven't had a vibration one. I do have the stock 20's and stock tires on it still though.

Muddie,

With your 2.5" in front and 1.5" in rear, does your truck sit level?

It seems like the vibration problems are occurring on a case-by-case basis and are probably the result of poor factory QA.
