Has anyone installed the bilstein 5125 series shocks on a stock height truck? Or does the front end have to be leveled? Any how-to's or pointers for getting the 14mm sleeves and bushings swapped out?

They should work on stock or leveled. As far as replacing them its as easy as taking off the shock, the new shocks should have everything you need besides the bolts. Just assemble and put on.

Im not sure about bilstein, but they should have a plastic strap keeping them compressed when you get them, just put the top bolt on, line it up with the bottom and cut the strap.

The 5125 series are a universal fit, not OEM replacement, so they require 14.4 mm bushings and sleeves to replace the standard 5/8" fittings they come with.

Thank you all for the information. I just had my new 285/70/17 BFG ATs installed on my factory forged aluminum wheels. Not a huge difference from the 265/70 I had previously(got 85,000 miles out of those tires bfg ats as well kick-ass tires) but they do a better job of filling those wheel wells. I did order the shocks back in april when bistein had their big sale going. I just wanted to make sure that they would fit before I have them installed next week along with a new drive axle assembly. I will post pics when I get it back from the shop. Thanks again Freeze and RLN!
