I was thinking of leveling my truck, but instead of raising the front with torsion keys, I thought it might look good to lower the rear a little to match up to the front. Has anyone done this, if so
how? How did it work out for you. Any help would be appreciated. Big Grin

I really like the way your truck looks, the only thing I'm concerned about is towing/hauling capacity. How is that affected by removing the overload spring. I have dirtbikes/4-wheelers that I carry and tow.

When I hook up my boat, that levels the rear. Big Grin

I have added two inches to the front of my 2500 but I have removed the rear bumper, hitch, spare tire, and tire winch and typically run without the tailgate so I lowered the rear. I was also wanting to soften up the rear suspension. I removed the overload spring and one of the spacers, I also turned my shocks upside down or body up. I don't tow anything and only haul camping gear so carrying capacity is not an issue. OMG what a difference it made in ride quality!!! I beat on this truck in the desert a lot and it can take whoops like a champ and jumps are super smooth. I was going to buy a set of KORE mini packs but not now!!!

it will lower your towing capacity, especially in a QC. I have just the rear shackles, and tow 2 ATVs around on a 14" trailer, and have felt the bump stops a couple times!. The slammed 1 shackles are as close to a full 2" drop as they come, and if that is not enough, try installing 1, or maybe even 2 spring clamps. These will stiffen up the ride a little, but if that is ok, they add another 1/2-1" drop as well.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll start with the shackles and go from there.
