I also reset the gas pedal by turning on the key, waiting until the idiot lights go out and then pressing the pedal slowly down to the floor, holding it for 15 seconds, letting it back up slowly, and then turning the key off and then starting the car again. It is much faster. It could be the 70 degree weather too, but definitely faster.

Anyone know of anything like this for the Hemi trucks?

I've done that, too, but all it really does is recalibrate the throttle position sensor for the drive-by-wire throttlebody. I know my throttle response got a little quicker and more accurate since I did it, and it seemed to smooth out the idle, too.

You are supposed to do it any time you disconnect the battery.

I do it once per month. I do, however, slam the accelerator pedal down as opposed to pushing it slowly. It still works, I guess, either way. That is just what I read to do. My Hemi has no hesitation at all doing that. If fact, you gotta be careful about depressing the accelerator, cause when you do, its going to go quickly.

I'm going to have to try that. I hate this drive by wire BS. My 02 was the most responsive vehicle ever. My hemi is sluggish compared to the response of that truck.
