anyone heard of schaeffer oil? i work at an oil and lube place and it's one of the oils we sell; more of specialty oil. not many people know about it from what i've discovered and i was just wondering if people on here had heard of it. it's supposed to be good but how good and what oil group it may be in, i have no idea. our supplier's wife went 10k on one oil change and they sent it off to a lab to see specifically how well it performed. i'll get back to you guys on that on whether it was a "bad" idea or not. their website is http://www.schaefferoil.com/index.html . schaffers has been around since sometime in the 1800's so somebody has got to know something about it. anybody with any input would be helpful in helping me (and anyone else) understand it better thumb2

When I had my parts store I sold Schaffer oil. Fine oil they specialize in bulk. I sold this to the county because of the cost breakdown.

I used to sell Schaeffer oil products to farmers and they loved it. I did this part time while adjusting claims. They have a great stabilizer that I still use. It keeps everything top side nice and clean, including your injectors. Their oil is a moly type oil.

You can go to their website and read about the moly oil. It is a high grade, paraffin stock oil with molybdenum added for friction reduction. It is a good oil. I just prefer Amsoil.

They also have a neutra fuel stabilizer for gas and diesel that is outstanding. I still use it as it keeps my injectors clean at all times. It is a good upper lubricant also.
