That's exactly the reason I do my own service! Damn thieves! Guarantee you Jiffy Lube isn't the ONLY one that does this. It's probably been going on since the beginning of automobiles too.

I can tell you that dealerships do it too. Also several other under hand things. I change my own oil too well until the arm broke. I now need an amsoil dealer that changes fluids that I can trust in Ga

I avoid "Iffy Lube" and the rest of them. Been doing my own oil changes for a long time.

I've always wondered about Jiffy Lube...I do my own lube jobs because I got tired of waiting 2 hours at the dealer. When I bought my Hemi they told me it never takes over 1/2 hour when you get an appointment...ain't true imho. I also like crawling under my Ram just to check everything I see and give things a tug, ya know? And it's knowing in my mind that I did the job right.

Ain't no way for me to crawl under the front of mine no more unless it is up on ramps, which is a really tricky thing to do to keep it from dragging......Wink But I still do ALL of my own maintenance, on my truck, my son's truck, and both of our cars.

Fer sure, I use my ramps, my reading glasses, latex gloves, a light and lay down a clean piece of card board....all a part of the Zen of a lube job.

I got some ramp that I've been using lately.

I also picked up a 3 ton aluminum jack from Costco. Man that thing is light.
