Wallyworld stop carrying it. Anyone know where to get it cheaper than the dealership?
How about an alternative synthetic that's a little cheaper than RP or Amsoil?

AutoZone has Valvoline ATF +4. Their site says officially licensed and Chrysler approved. $5.49 a quart.

Cool. I noticed that Valvoline +4 says full synthetic, While cheaper store brand +4's do not. I thought +4,in general, was full synthetic? Also dude at Napa says that Napa brand +4 is Valvoline +4 relabeled?

The supertech ATF +4 that walmart carries is re-bottled Valvoline. All of the oil and filters walmart was carrying they were buying from a dealer near the home base of walmart. That dealer was purchasing all of the supply walmart wanted in tractor trailer loads so they were getting a lot better pricing than normal. When mopar went into bankruptcy though you couldn't get most of the oil or filters anywhere because of the contracts getting canceled. That's why walmart doesn't have them anymore.

So, running Walmart brand is not a bad thing! Hmmm...? I'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks

A buddy of mine bought some Valvoline here and said it almost cost him as much as I could have gotten him Amsoil for. When your mileage on it is 100k instead of 30k, might be worth looking into. Just some food for thought.
