After changing out my differental cover, I decided to change out my valve covers as well.
(Powder coated wrinkle black)

Over the past three years I've changed out over 15 cams with the help of Fred / others and I have yet to see the back side of valve covers this clean. God I love AMSOIL. Theres NO Carbon or oil build up at all.

Those look great Scott!

Good pics of the bottom of those. AMSOIL will never sludge or cause deposits.

I love Amsoil too! Wink For the fact that I actually have to remind myself when I need an oil change again for the reason that it was almost 6 months ago and it feels like I missed a few....lol.

40k plus hard miles. I've been using AMSOIL 0w-30 for over two years now and love it. I change my oil every 12K and use the bypass kit.

I've seen trucks with way less miles with more build up under the covers. (yes some using AMSOIL too, just to be fair but were not using the bypass kit)

Or during the cam swap.

92K and almost 93K on mine with only 3 oil changes so far. I'm due in April to do my 4th oil change.

Could tell ya a hundred stories about how Amsoil saved something, but I'll jut tell ya the latest. Women broke a radiator hose on interstate. Didn't want to pull over, as it was late, and she was by herself. Drove almost forty miles with no water, till she got home. Motor cracked both heads, and the block, yet there wasn't even a scratch on the bearings, and it still turned over normally. Good stuff!!!

That's good to hear!

My mom had a similiar problem with here Lincoln. The check engine light came on while she was on the interstate. She saw that the water temp was pegged so she pulled over and called me. I got there and the radiator was bone dry. It must have leaked out steady, but not enough to cause any steam that she could notice. I filled the radiator with water to get her back on the road. She turned it over and I saw the that the plastic manifold was cracked. She drove it 10 more miles to the dealership for repair. They pulled the heads to check for damage and there was none. So they replaced the manifold, put on all new radiator hoses and all has been good since.
