Hey Guys I'm thinking about switching my oil over to RP. I have been running Penzoil Platinum in my Hemi since I got it. I am now at 104,000 miles and want to switch to RP. My question is should I do some sort of flush to get the old oil completely out of the system before I put in RP. If so how would I go about doing this. Thanks in advance.

goodluck1 You do not need to do any type of flush since you have been using another syn oil!

I agree since you have run syn already, the switch to RP will be flawless, its alot better lubricant and you will be pleased, I am a FIRM BELIEVER IN RP, its a very high grade Syn and your Hemi will love you for it. I now use RP in everything I own! Big Grin

Swap away. No flush is needed as others have said.

I ran RP 5W-30 in my 04 HEMI Ram and am now running their 5W-20 in my 08. Great oil. Your engine will love it.
