Guys,I am about to change oil on my 08,if I remember correctly I have to use 5w-20,can anyone confirm that? I am going to switch to synthetic btw,not sure what brand I can get my hands on,would like to get Amsoil.I will have to look around and see what is available Thanks.

The oil fill cap should have the oil weight on it. Mine says 5w-20

MDS requires 5w20, and as far as I know, your truck is MDS.

seeing how you are in Iceland cold1 .... it may be worth trying to find some 0-20. The only difference is it has better cold weather benefits, like a lower cold pour point cold1

0w-20 will not affect the MDS in fact that is why it was made. Can you not order Amsoil???

what ever you do, do NOT run 0-40..... the "40" is too "heavy" for MDS.
