When I bought my Hemi it had always had a "lifter tick" in it. I had talked to the prevoius owner, he had been using GTX. I decited to switch to Mobile 1 syn. and man did I notice a difference. NO JOKE my mileage improve by 1.5 m.p.g. or so pulling our trailer and about 1.5 to 2 m.p.g. on the road over the GTX. It also dropped the oil temp. down also and no more lifter noise. A true believer in synthetic.
