So ive had a few posts about a whining noise coming from my engine on cold start ups. So far the dealerships replaced a power steering pump, water pump and alt. thinking thatd fix it. Well still have the noise however not as often. I first bought my truck I ran penzoil 10w-30 then recently switched to mobil 1 10w-30 since a thicker oil would take longer to get where it needs to be especially on cold starts could this be the cause of my whine? Should I go with maybe 5w-30? I really dont know if that could fix it but just wanted to see what yall thought of that idea or if im just completely in left field here haha thanks for yalls time.
