well just changed the oil and it's the first time i have used AMSOIL, dumped in the XL 5W20 and i plan to run it for 7500 miles changing the filter at midpoint. sound about right???

i changed the trans fluid 2 weeks ago (to Valvolene +4) so now all i have left is the front/rear diffs and the transfer case and at the ripe old age of 32,000 miles she will be rolling all fresh lubricants. i plan to take this truck well past the 200K mark so i want to keep it in tip top condition burnout

If you use the Amsoil EVO filter, you need to change all at 7,500. There would be no need to change the filter midway.
