I used it as directed pouring half a can slowly down a vac line to the intake and this is the result after 10 minutes and restarting a backfire and a blown intake manifold...funny thing is i've used this product several times over the life of my truck with no problems and good results

Never seen anything like that in 25+ years using the stuff. I would say somehow you got a puddle of it inside one of the cylinders that caused the BF. Did you dump a lot of product right at the end to cause the engine to die for the 10 minute wait or did you shut it off with the key? Maybe by pouring a good bunch of the product in to kill the engine, if that is what you did, it let a puddle form which caused your issue? Only thing I can envision causing it? If you used the key to kill it then the engine ran for a couple seconds after the last drop was sucked in so things should have cleared a bit.

Just a guess??? Sorry this happened to you.

Like I said used it several times on this truck and other cars i've owned with good results, I only pour a small stream to not stall the engine then shut it off with the key as directed the other 1/2 a can in the gas tank. Just a fluke thing I guess I cant explain it ? like you i've used this stuff for a long time
