anyone know the lifespan of mobil1 oil? is it a 3000mi change or does it last as long as amsoil?

6,000 miles is a good change interval. Some folks I know go to 7,500. You should change the oil filter and top off the oil level (add about a quart) at the 3,000 mark.

being from Texas, i promise Kilometers never crossed his mind. I've been running Mobile 1 for the last 10-12 years in various vehicles, and usually change it 5K miles (8K KM). BUT if it goes a little over, i done worry about it too much. Again, it's more about how you drive, heat, tow, race etc...
