ok so before this started i would just have to mess with the ac knob and it would click on. so i took it apart and and cleaned the connections and it worked great. but now it wont click on at all. do i need a new compressor?

Check and makesure that you got the wiring back together correctly!! Also check the wiring under the hood. I had mine eaten by a Squirrel before!!

We've seen lots of issues here where the A/C control unit where the knob is has failed and won't send the power to turn the Compressor on. There has also been noted issues, especially on 02-03 models where the ignition switch in the column has an intermitent fault and keeps the a/c from working as well. Either one can cause intermitent symptoms of the A/C not coming on.

the only ones i can find are from the dealership. do i have to get one from there or is there somewhere online to order them from?
