My condensor fan motor is dead. My question-- is it possible to replace the fan motor without disconnecting the coolent lines from the condensor? Any instructions i have seen say to disconnect the lines, but it looks like you maybe able to leave them, I wanted to check with our members to see if anyone has changed it their self. It looks simple enough but any advise i can get is greatly appreiated. thanks

Had to discharge the a/c to disconnect both coolent hose fittings to remove old fan and scroud. Then recharge a/c. Took all of 20 minutes when you have the right tools. Had to take it to mech in jefferson with a/c equipment.
