not so much problems just looking to upgrade. after seeing hemiloredos upgrade it got me to thinking about an upgrade of my own. so i am looking at doing Longtubes, putting my cutouts back on and then doing an x pipe with dual mufflers. The hedmans just look like a good deal and would save some cash over pacesetters and dynatechs.

need to try to keep as much back pressure as possible. I asked ProudHemi the same question, if I should go 2.5" or 3", he said if I plan on stroking the engine then 3" otherwise 2.5" will be good.

sweet that would be awesome! we could probably get the headers, cats and y pipe on ourselves. then have JD handle the cutout, glass pack and muffler

Well i can vouch for the Hedmans GOD I LOVE THEM!! i had me a 3"ORY though, not because you have to have backpressure, that is a complete myth lol Headers that are good are actually suppose to pull a vaccum out of the combustion chamber and eliminate backpressure and depending on where you want your power band you choose your pipe size, primary size and collector length and outlet size. If you use a smaller outlet size you have more lower RPM and mid range and if you use a little bit bigger say 3" you have more mid range Upper end torque, thats where i wanted mine so i went with 3"ory

Well with what i am going to be doing it will be this: Hedman headers, 3 inch magnaflow cats, Pacesetter off road Y pipe, 3 inch cutout, glasspack for my resonator, and then a 3 inch single inlet/ dual 2 1/2 outlet muffler. Still havent decided on the muffler yet.

ive got a vid of my truck with my headers no cats and 3"ORY, its obnoxious but if you put any muffler on it, it sounds so damn SICK!!! i finally just put my ole 30series flow on it for now until i can afford the aeroturbines http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSSdYB7JGXc
