I'm looking into a set of Pacesetter longtubes/ORY and would like to know if anyone has run them through stock exhaust and how loud the system is. Obviously I will run my cutout open most of the time but would like to keep it quiet sometimes too. I have an '04 with stock muffler but I took off the rear resonator and tail pipe. I'm just concerned the lack of cats will make it too loud around the house. Thanks for any input.

I dont think it will make it much louder. Maybe deeper and throatier sound cause of the lack of cats.

I ran with Dynatech headers, high flow cats and y pipe on the stock exhaust for 1 1/2 months. It was about 25-35% louder than stock.

Also, front resonator taken off.

Why would you run it into stock exhaust? that defeats the whole purpose of high flowing headers. You don't want to use that stock exhaust with headers.
