You looking for performance? Start out with the small stuff. Superchips, Exhaust, Headers, Efan, then you can start thinking cam, torque converter, heads, custom tune (SCT or Diablo). There's a lot out there, just depends on how far you wanna go and how much money you got! Big Grin

P.S. get some long tube headers and delete the cats (if you don't have strict emissions testing)

Ya, I got all the basics like that done. Just wondering if some LT headers would do the trick to pull some more HP out off the truck. By the way, I have Superchips installed now but are there better tuning options out there? Can you get these Hemis professional tuned?

Long tubes would be a good performance mod. Especially if you dual it out and delete the cats. Helps flow even more. You can now get your hemi professionally tuned by a dyno tuner and such. But you first must have an SCT hand held tuner or the Diable hand held tuner. Then you would have to find a dyno shop that can tune your truck with which ever one you get. Email tunes are just as good. That's what I did. I bought my SCT hand held from Sean, he goes by Hemifever. Now I get unlimited email tunes from him. If I see that I need an adjustment on A/F ratio, I send him a datalog and a video of my A/F meter and he'll fix it for me and send me an email tune. If I get a new cam, he can help me tune it the same way. I send him a datalog and a vid of my A/F meter then he'll keep sending me tunes to load until its perfect. Sean is also a great guy and knows his stuff when tuning with SCT.

Then you have the Diablo. The Diablo is also a great tuner. Some people have had issues with their transmissions but it doesn't seem to be everyone. Kind of a hit or miss type thing. Know Diablo can do the same with the email tunes but first you have to find a tuner that will be willing to work with you on getting your truck tuned. There isn't just one Hemi guy tuning with Diablo that does the email tunes. There are quite a few. Just gotta ask guys who tuned their trucks and go from there.

Hope that helps... Smiler

If you do a cam you will want a diablo or sct.
Diablo would be my choice.(Is).
Efan is a easy fun mod and will free up some hp and maybe a bit of mileage.
Longtubes are ok to do anytime, and youll get some benifit from performance.
Then when you get a cam youll get the benifit of alreay having headers installed.
Your first mod should be a wideband,if your going to do any engine modding.

No, but I would install a wideband at the same time as the tubes to make sure your A/F is safe. Then you can decide what to do from there. As far as headers I would either reccomend dynatechs or hedmans. Then definantly dual exhaust with an x-pipe.

Nope, your superchips will work great with that combo of mods! thumb2 That is of course until you get a cam.
