Ran them when I had my 04, they had the cermic coating. Also ran them with stage 8 bolts. Engine temp droped a few degrees and the hp went up around 3 to 5. Hope that helps.

Unless you've got a 2500 or 3500, stick with long tubes or tri-y's.

well ive been told by other members on here and my local muffler shop that due to californian's SMOG laws shorties are the only way to go.

And what are tri-ys?

Shorties are damned near worthless on the HEMI. Don't waste your money.

Tri-y's were originally developed decades ago, and they're still a great option for our HEMIS. Here's a good discussion on them: http://hemitruckclub.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/6700048252/m/2190018284

BTW, my titanium ceramic coated "stainless steel" JBA mids are rusting and pitting like crazy. The y-pipe that I painted with Duplicolor High-temp Ceramic is holding up better than the headers. A recent mod article in Mopar Action about a SRT-8 Magnum showed horrendous rust on a pair of JBA mufflers after only a few months use. It would appear that JBA is cutting corners by using half-assed coatings and the lowest-grade "stainless" steel available. I bought mine used with only a couple thousand miles on them, so I didn't pay anywhere near full price. If I had gotten them new, I'd be PISSED.

You're better off getting the Thorley tri-y's, Edelbrock TES mids, or some Jet-Hot coated Pacesetters. Great bang for the buck.

I agree with you,Freeze.I think the JBA's are overpriced. I too scored a set of JBA's(titanium coated also)off of e-bay for $200. I would prefer the Edelbrock's or Doug's tri-y's if I had the $$$$. I recently went with some local California HTC members to a dyno-run over the weekend. We all dynoed our trucks, then,we installed the JBA's on my truck and did an 'after' dyno. While not a real dramatic increase(and, not fully welded on),I picked up 11hp and 11tq at the wheels. Not that bad IMO.
