I'm want to run 2 1/2" pipes after my headers.

What size are the stock cats and what size is the collector on the headers (3"?)?

How are yall doing this set up with stock cats? I wanna use 2.5" mufflers and 2.5" cut outs. Can the cats be cut and welded to fit the 2.5" pipe and use a reducer at the collector so I can run 2.5" exhaust all the way back?

Also, what would the labor for this set up cost? I'm going to put the headers on myself and I'm going to buy the mufflers and cut outs myself. Im going to dump the exhaust before the rear axle.

What is reasonable for the labor on this? 300$?

The collectors are 3" and I had the exhaust shop put in pretty much a custom cat back exhaust system, and I provided everything for them. Minus the tubing.

I went with 2.5" piping all the way through. From the collectors went the 2.5" electric cutous, to an x pipe then the 2 aero turbines. I did pay close to $300 but it was under $300. He said he'd have to charge me a little extra to do the cat delete, I guess cuz its illegal or somethin... dunno

I also had them weld in 3 bungs, one for my A/F meter and 2 for the rear o2 sensors

That doesn't sound bad Michael! I'm guessing we have O2 sensors behind the cats? And do we all need one for the AF meter?

Yes we have 2 behind the cats. And if you are going to run a A/F meter a bung has to be welded in.

I don't think you need it. But it doesn't hurt to know if you are running lean or rich. But with the mods you have you shouldn't have an issue with being too rich or too lean.
