i got the edelbrock shorty's and was wondering if anyone else has used these, and on a moose if that. i was told they would fit but the driver side i'm alomst postive wont. i been fighting it for about 2 hours trying to get it slid into place. it just wont go!!! i got the inner fenderwell out, since the transmissions out i raised up the motor and still cant get it. also as i stare in frustration and try to picture if i did get it into place it doesnt seem like would clear once i let the motor back down. any help would be great before i toss em over the hill

you have to be real careful about which system you buy especially for 2500 chassis gotta look real close and ask alot of questions before you buy same thing happend to my friend he just sold them out of frustration i dont think theres to much you can do but im not a expert bro im sure someone will answer you soon

According to Edelbrock's website http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/exhaust/headers_shorty.shtml they will only fit 4X4s with IFS (independent front suspension). Meaning it won't work with a solid axle.

yea i found out the hard way. gonna try for the S&S longtubes now. waiting to hear back from them though. asked for confirmation on the 2500 fitment and what the collector size is. thats been about 2 weeks ago.
