03-04 will work on your '05. Pacesetter makes a great set that a lot of guys use, and uncoated they're fairly cheap.

yep they would work on your truck. and I have seen uncoated longtube headers run for $300 before. I do suggest you at least get rid of the restrictive stock y pipe and buy one or get one made.

With high flow cats it throws a cat eneficency code. You then use anti spark plug foulers and steel wool if needed to trick the cat monitor to think the cat is working the same as the stock ones. I don't know if you can do the same with no cats.

with an 05 you have 2 cats now and 4 O2's
If you are going to run high flow cats to help with the O2s you will need to of them unless you plan to really extend the wires on them and install them both behind a single cat.

If you plan on runnin no cats just leave the o2 sensors connected but tuck em up out of the way. You will still throw a code for downstream sensor lean but it really doesn't mean anything, just that the O2's isn't reading anything but fresh air and it won't hurt the motor. Warning though your truck will be obnoxiously loud and not sound good at all.....at least mine didn't. I put magnaflows on and just used one spark plug non-fouler on each and haven't had any codes since and the truck sounds much nicer now.

You have an '05 why would ya run a single cat when the truck has 2?? You could do it but don't be surprised when ya throw codes.

If you want to run cats you either need to get a header setup that comes with them or add them on to one.

If you get the Pacesetters get their Y pipe with it and two high flow cats. cut out sections of the Y pipe to install the cats right after the headers. The read of the Y pipe should connect to your current catback system unless you are running true duals.
