Im installing some Pacesetter LT headers on to my 04 Ram. Do you have to remove the exhaust manifolds to do this? Any advice on getting this job complete? Thanks guys.

yeah the stock ones there is heat shields over them you have to take them off first and go from there, i just did them on my 05 it was preaty easy took me a friend 4 hours and it was running again that including terrorizing the neighborhood befor we weld'd the need Y pipe in and fixed the exhaust you have to put them on from bottom up they dont fit from the top or in the side and not sure but on my 05 passengerside there are allingment tabs that need to be pounded down or cut off

You can do yourself a big favor by removing the half dozen fasteners holding the fender liners in and remove the liners. You have the truck jacked up so take the wheel off on the side your working and everything is right in front of you to work on.

A little extra work for a bunch less frustration. goodluck1

iagree That's the only way to go. Not sure what you meant by the manifold question Confused , but be sure to spray Liquid Wrench or some other penetrating oil on the manifold bolts before trying to bust 'em loose. They come out a lot easier and the last thing you want is to break off a bolt into the aluminum heads. Other than that, there's not much to the install, it's pretty straight forward. goodluck1
