cats are staying, it's my dally driver and 80 miles per day i like the performance but I'm also concerned with pollution, if it was an occasional ride i would remove them

OK got them on, the process went pretty smooth until the part were you suppose to weld the extension pipes to the cats, the is barely any room for the mig gun and the mask to weld on the top section, also the lock on the Stage 8 bolts are a pain to install in some of the bottom bolts it took me about 1&1/2 hours just to weld und install the locks, the job took a total of 4 hours by myself.
Now about the results, the performance increase is pretty obvious when you drive it the first time after the install all you can say is WOW all the horses Edelbrock claims are really there. For my surprise the exhaust sounds quieter than before gotta work on that now.
I also replaced the factory plug wires with Taylor Thundervolt 50 (10.4 mm) and they are impressive they look more like a hose than a wire and the truck idles very smooth now
