| Went to a car show the 11th (Saturday night) hosted by the local body shop. Well, it was not too bad a night. This was the 4th annual show. They had 75 cars, trucks, and bikes there. I was entered in the "Best Dodge Pickup" category, and I was up against a jacked up 4x4 Dually with big 6" chrome stacks, Semi truck chrome wheels, etc, etc. Got there about 4:45, show had started at 4:30. We were cleaning up the truck, and about 30 mins after we got there it started POURING down rain! I had the hood up and everything! Just had enough time to put the windows up and close the doors before it let loose. It rained about 30-40 mins, then quit, and we went back out and dried the Hemi off (took about 15 mins! - she was soaked...looked like a wet puppy  ) Well they came around abotu 6:30 or so and judged the vehicles, then they had a poker run (I didn't participate - not my cup of tea so to speak). After that was done, they had some motorcycle games, and then they handed out the awards at 9 p.m. My baby took home 1st place of the big green rig! Must admit, it was a nice rid, had LED's everywhere, even the taillights. But the interior and under hood was basically stock. Anyway, here are some pics, hope you guys enjoy them!By the way, that made the 8th 1st place trophy I have won this year....  |
