So I noticed a bad shake when braking. Me and my roomate tore apart my front brakes this weekend with the assumption that the rotors were just warped. Went and had them turned came back and yeah this would be why im not a real mechanic...low and behold the right front pads were extremely worn and the left side still had half the pads. Dang back to autozone we go and bought a set of front brake pads. Come back put the left side on by the way it took us awhile to figure out that where the pads clip on the caliper just pop off after you take out those two bolts haha first time ive seen something like that. Anyways go to the right side and oh did I mention im not a real mechanic yeah so the right piston boots were torn to shreds which most likely explains why the pads were so worn on one side and of course the warped rotor. Back to autozone we go for one rotor. Finally got everything installed and it brakes like a champ again. Turned rotors $35, New Pads $60, One Caliper $65 after core charge, buying my roomates dinner for the help $45...the right to start putting up some mod master logos...priceless next is new shockes where to begin...Hope yall find my three trips to autozone amusing...I finally started to.

Man, it never fails...whenever I get doing something it always turns into multiple trips or something stupid. When i did my water pump we decided to go check into a new thermostat o-ring since the new one didn't come with one. After going 3 different places that would have to order the $4 part, we decided to just use the old one. It just had one little depressed spot on it, but it is fine.

lol it happens to us all when i was putting my electric fan on i had my knive out cutting some wires and i dropped my knive on my radiator well it landed in the right spot and put a hole in the radiator fluid started shooting out so i had to pull everything back off and take the radiator to a shop and had the hole fixed and new plastic ended put on while it was there .... it never fails when you are working on something either you mess something up or you make many trips to the parts store or both
