went to do the brakes in my 03 1500 today and the first wheel i went to do was the drivers side front, pulled the wheel off, took off the caliber bracket and tried to get the rotor off and have had zero luck, spent about 2hrs tryin to get it off and that baby is frozen on there...anybody have any suggestions cuz a 4lb hammer isn't budging it and i'm ready to blow a fuse lol...thanks

soak what you can with penetrating spray, let it sit for at least 30 mins... find a 3-5lb rubber mallet and go to work. Wink
seeing your in the N.East, and it is on an 03, i am willing to bet it probably rusted up a little.

Current mods:

Exterior: 2003 RC short bed Ram. Chrome 20" Motto wheels, 275/55/20 Bridgestone Duelers, tint, functional SRT-10 Hood, Street Scene bumper cover, de-chromed and painted rear bumper, body matched grill shell, mirrors, door handles, tailgate handle and antenna mount, billet grill and bumper inserts, Bushwhacker street fender flares, polished "Ram" 3rd brake light cover.
Engine: Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, 3rd Strike dual filter with throttle body spacer.
Audio: Alpine 9885 with IPod, Infiniti 3.5", 5.25" and 6x9's, two Kenwood DVC 12" subs with three Kenwood amps running it all through Monster Cable wiring. Optima red-top.
Interior: Sueded headliner, color matched A&B pillars, overhead console, and rear light surround.
Proudly serving our country with the Marine Corps for 12 years.

thanks for the suggestions what ended up doing the trick was someone told me to take a torch to the rotor all around the lugs and inbetween them (not the hub) and get it as hot as i possibly could then whale on it inbetween each stud and sure enough went all the way around then a few love taps on the back side and off she came
