I thought the six speed was already available in the 2500s. Anyway, the Power wagons come with a six speed standard, so all the parts are probably available, the computer may be the only hurdle.

Why is the computer the problem? Speedway sells hemi computers for manual tranny vehicles for $300.

THe 2500's are available with a manual but I don't know if they are 6 speeds. You will have to swap the computer for a manual tranny setup. Other than that all the parts should be fairly easy to locate.

What if I didn't swap computers?

I'm pretty sure you can get a 6 speed 2500 hemi. I wouldn't want a stock tranny anyway. I want one of those richmonds

Dunno. It probably has been done lots for the 2500's just not talked about. I know alot of 1500 owners are wanting to do this. The problem there is the 2500 computer isn't compatable to the 1500's and the 2500's tranny is lousy for 1500 purposes (geared for tow/haul/working). Check out this thead. Tranny swap. We have been going back and forth for a while on this. It is becoming popular on the Jeep side.
