i have an 06 4x4 hemi 1500, i put it in drive and it starts out in 3rd. it wont start in first or drop down in first if you floor it. it also wont even if you actually put it in 1st. i was out of town when it started so i drove an hour back to town and it seemed like i had overdrive off. someone told me it maybe the filter. it also has 104,000 miles but its always drove perfect. ANY IDEAS

Sounds like the trans is in limp in mod... You need to get some one to check it.

hope you have the lifetime powertrain warranty... and good service records. I'm at 96K on mine this week... not what wanted like to hear.
