Does anybody know at what temp the "dummy light" on the dash is set at to light up?

I think it has to be higher than that cuz i have seen 250 on my Temp gauge i have tapped into the out going line between the trany and cooler. But i dont know how much hotter that is then where the light gets its "readings" from dunno

Well I called and they told me around 230 deg but like you said afteamroper I to have my tapped into the out going line to.

230 could be correct if it is taking the temp close to the return line from the cooler or something. I just wish someone could tell me how to monitor my trany temp useing my superchip i mean you can monitor everything else it seems like but the trany temp unless i have missed something.
