It was probably just a small neighbor kid you ran over. The lift in your front end was getting in the way and you couldn't see him. That's all.... Big Grin

Sounds like a warranty issue. Or keep your foot in it until something breaks, and then take it in so the idiots at the dealership can actually find the problem.

You need to jump on this. Make the dealer live up to there agreement. With the company being in trouble who knows what the future holds when Fiat takes over. Good Luck,

Mine makes some weird noise on the 1-2 shift as well at WOT. It is kind of like the sound of a blast of air. It is hard to explain the way it sounds. It is a "smack" sound as it shifts. It doesn't do it every time, but most times.

Do you have a tuner? I have the Diablo and I was thinking it was shifting too hard and the tranny was not happy. I need to run it without the tune and see what it does.

I think you just hear the valve body. Or the throttle blade if you dont have a programmer. Could't hurt to take it in though.

Are you serious. What the hell is the "Hemi Fart?" I do have a programmer. I also just put some Edelbrock shorties on it and the sound did not change. Got the shorties because of Cali SMOG and I got them for $200.

Are you sure it's coming from up front? Anyone think it might be a bad u-joint? I've had previous trucks that make a weird thump when getting on it and it was slack in the drive train due to a couple bushing pins missing in a u-joint.

It only has 7k on it and it is a much different sound than that. It is more of a crash sound, or like a burst of compressed air. It is hard to explain. I think it is comming from the transmission, but it could be the motor. I don't get any knock retard on the shifts.
