Gonna do my trans service this week and have read where a lot of guys are using amsoil. Is it that much better than other standard atf?

Yes it is. I have used it for years with no tranny problems. It runs much cooler and shifts much better. Contact or go to Amsoil.com and read about it. There are several dealer on HTC that can help you. It is worth the extra money.
