Thought there was a thread about this but guess not. What happens if you instasll the resistor and don't run the 91 octane performance mode on Superchips? Will I stop the world from turning? Eeker

its okay to run it with the 93 tune, because the 93 tune actually lowers line pressure for some strange reason, so the resistor will bump it back up, but any other tune will be too high of a pressure with the resisitor and might really f*ck up your transmission and start breaking things.

well the resistor changes the signal to the TCM by a voltage drop across the circuit in the line pressure sensor, it will send a signal to the computer to raise line pressure, because it will think it is lower than it is suppose to be.

i am a self diagnosed trany idiot... but how could too much line pressure be a bad thing?

So what it sounds like is the resistor brings the line pressure back up to whereever it was with the other tunes. Kind of dumb for the "Performance" mode to drop pressure. Confused

I put my resistor back in today and it makes a great difference. The only thing that I do not like is that my convertor stalls sooner with it. I think.

Ok , where and how is this installed. I am picking up sc this week from work. And from the dtw post sounds like this combination is a good thing.

Is this transgo resister setup something that works with the '07, and how difficult a MOD is it? Any input would be appreciated.

I have been running my SC on 91 for the past few years and run the resistor in my shift kit as well. The SC does not increase the line pressure, so it doesn't conflict with the resistor in our trucks.
