just wondering if MDS and the converter lockup are related in any way? the reason i ask is a good friend of mine uses his 04 Cummins for sled pulling and he can electronically lock his converter. this seems simple enough to do so i was wondering if i manually lock my converter will it help keep the MDS on through hills and head winds?

good question! I haven't seen any options out for the 545 trany/tq converter manual lockup option though.

from what i understand it's just a matter of finding the right wire and grounding it (on the diesel trans anayway) not sure on the 545 though
