Howdy all. I currently haul my canoe with a hitch mounted bed extender and some foam blocks but it's a PITA and rattles like a dump truck on even the smoothest dirt road. How are you guys transporting this type of stuff without ditching your tonneau cover?
I of course considered going with a ladder rack on the bed, but losing the lockable tonneau cover (undercover) isn't an option. I priced some Thule roof racks for the cab and all told it was over $500 to replace the foam blocks I'm currently using. Any suggestions? TIA, Ed T.
