I want to buy the factory style trailer tow mirrors, but from the dealer the set is like $600. Ebay has several places that sell a discount set. Just wondering if anyone has ordered them and what there opinion is on quality?

I am not too sure but if you can find them on ebay, craig's list or from someone here would be the best!!

I have heard several times that the aftermarket tow mirrors on ebay are horrible. The general consensus is that they aren't as sturdy as the OEM and that they vibrate to the point to where you can't see outta them.

Just wanted to clear up a mis-quote on my part. When I first whet to the dealer to ask for the tow mirrors they tried to sell me the aftermarket ones with the turn signals in them $250 a piece. I told them I wanted the factory flip out mirrors and they told me the were $350 a piece without even looking up the price. So I walked out.

After shopping around on Ebay and the Dodge accessories site I found the factory mirrors that I wanted for anywhere between $290 and $355 for the pair. So I went back into the dealer yesterday with the part number and asked if they could match price for around $300. They said they couldn't beat the $355 so I orded them off of Ebay from someone who appeared to be a Dodge dealer.

I guess I will see when I get them if it is what I expected, as normally my dealer is very good and reliable. Unfortunatly this time they didn't take the time to help me out so I didn't spend my money with them on this purchase.
