I want to take most the badging off my new '08 Ram 1500 (The RAM on the door just doesn't cut it for me.) Does anyone have suggestions so I don't mess it up?

Thanks

Use a length of fishing line to "saw" behind the emblems...some have said they used a blow dryer too to soften the adhesive.

Thanks! I knew there had to be something. Too many have done it without a lot of scratches.

i just did my tailgate to start , used heat gun on LOW HEAT to soften tape , then i blistered my finger tips rubbing it off , then cleaned up with a citris cleaner , then waxed . after my finger tips are blistered (LOL), my buddy RaiderJay6 told me to buy the wheel = 3m makes it- pinstripe remover wheel , that takes off the tape and anything else sticky . awesome !!! without leaving a single mark on finish . its 35.00 at like NAPA or any hometown parts store .

Thanks guys. My truck is VERY similar to madcat's, except I have the chrome section on the lower bumper. So, that's exactly the look I'm after.

You've all been a big help. Thanks
