A guy I work with has a SRT hood that has a couple of small hail dents in it. His insurance company bought him a new one and he says he'll sell me this one for a hundred bucks. The only problem is there is no plastic insert or grill in the opening, apparently they used the one that came out of it on his new one. What is this piece called and where can I pick one up. I hope I can find the parts because the hood is already painted to match my truck and I think the dentless repair guy should be able to rub out the dimples. Thanks for the help.

That part isn't cheap but it is a lot cheaper than a hood. Call Art at Henson Motors - 800-530-5337, ask for Parts the for Art. Tell him your with HTC to get a discount. I would buy the hood in a heart beat if it wasn't across the country.

Are you talking about the black honeycomb insert only? or the insert AND the scoop?

I believe I'm talking about the insert and scoop. I've looked up "insert" on ebay etc.. and I've only found the honeycomb mesh grille, or one that says something. I need the whole setup.
