My truck has developed a whistle when the air is on high, which is quite often with temps above 90. After some research with a water hose on the outside of truck, I discovered air blowing out from around the door handles. I pulled off the door panels and tightened the handles. No luck, still whistling, If I am moving it stops. When I am sitting still it whistles. It is pretty loud, can be heard about 20 feet away. Any ideas or solutions.

you could try some of that one sided sticky rubber some guys use for sound proofing and wrap it around the inside of the handles.

easiest place I think would be Best Buys or Circuit City for the soundproofing rubber sheet or go to home depot or Lowe's by the roofing dept. and you may find a piece of waterproofing material, like ice and water shield. it's just flat rubber sheets or rolls with sticky surface on 1 side.
let it set in the sun to get it all soft and rubbery and it'll be easier to wrap the area.

I had a pretty terrible whistle on high AC a while ago...used shop air to blow the crap out of all the vents (horrified at what came out!) and it went away...you sure the whistle is coming from the handles??

100% sure. I thought it was coming from around he doors. Took a hose and ran water on doors. I looked down and saw bubbles around the handles. When I pushed on the handle, it stopped.
BTW how did you blow out your vents?

Put the fan on high...and blew compressed air in there...all kinds of garbage came flying out...any detailing place will do it for you, and probably do a better job.
