Yes i know its not painted yet but it works for now its FBIRIDES rollpan 18 gauge steel.One sugestion if you have factory hitch you have a project ahead of you to get a rollpan on you have tolift box off the frame, but i just saved that for later and used the good old hacksaw after disassembly instal was super easy bolted right up. cleans up back alot take a look

ummm, what did you have to hacksaw? Confused

Pan looks good.. i want to do this so bad, but like you said, would need to relo the drop hitch (hidden hitch). and that's a PITA Frowner

Sounds like he cut the hitch receiver off. Cant imagine that would have been easier than unbolting and lifting the bed, but who knows.


Current mods:

Exterior: 2003 RC short bed Ram. Chrome 20" Motto wheels, 275/55/20 Bridgestone Duelers, tint, functional SRT-10 Hood, Street Scene bumper cover, de-chromed and painted rear bumper, body matched grill shell, mirrors, door handles, tailgate handle and antenna mount, billet grill and bumper inserts, Bushwhacker street fender flares, polished "Ram" 3rd brake light cover.
Engine: Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust, 3rd Strike dual filter with throttle body spacer.
Audio: Alpine 9885 with IPod, Infiniti 3.5", 5.25" and 6x9's, two Kenwood DVC 12" subs with three Kenwood amps running it all through Monster Cable wiring. Optima red-top.
Interior: Sueded headliner, color matched A&B pillars, overhead console, and rear light surround.

I got the exact same roll pan, but I took the hitch off and sold it for $75...

It was SUPER easy pulling the hitch off... Can't imagine why anyone would cut theres off.

it's actually pretty easy, only have to remove the 4 bolts in the back and you can jack it up dunno

Yeah, I only took the rear bed bolts out and had a buddy just lift one side of the rear of the bed at a time while I slide the hitch off the frame rails.

ya we tried lifting it and jacking it but btween suspension movement and jack lift hieght it didnt work. i fabricate a little bit so i plan on used what is left on the frame to make my hidden hitch out of.
