I've tried vinegar and 0000 steel wool. Anyone have any luck getting water spots off their windows?

A 50/50 mix of muritic acid and water. It comes off with very little rubbing. I use it all the time to take the water spots and crud off my boat AND lower unit which is painted.

They have a product at NAPA that is called duragloss. It is just for that purpose. I had a Honda with about 5 years worth of well water spots. A pal of mine that worked at the Lexus dealership told me about it cause they used it for used cars and it works. I used a low speed buffing wheel and a cotton pad with it and it looked brand new.
