I was thinking about one, but I am concerned about even a minor tap from another vehicle in a parking space. I was wondering if the metal ones are the best way to go, or are the plastic ones better because they probably flex somewhat?

I have had my metal one installed for about 5 months now. It was from Stylin Trucks,I believe it was there 'EFX' model. I have been a little more careful with parking since the installation as I am not the best parallel parker. So far,no issues(yet).

i got a fiberglass one somebody already hit it, there is no scratches but the paint is cracked

Mine’s a S.S. plastic one with flexible paint. It can handle the occasional idiot that bumps it without damage.

 I DO need to find a good place to buy a hidden hitch to go in behind it now... anyone got any idea.
