Just my luck - raining like HE(double-hockey-sticks) and my tailgate won't stay closed! At least the rear window on my cap could hold her up.
Of course, it's not covered under my extended warranty and Stealership wants $150 to replace.  I have Putco chrome handle covers all the way around except for the tailgate so I'm thinking, the hell with the stealership, I'll replace with a chrome handle.  I found this one http://autoparts.pricegrabber....ip_code=14485/st=zip but I don't know if it's a good product or price. Also, how easy is it to install?. For about the same amount of money you could go with a locking tail gate handle.

Mark...call Art at Henson, 800-530-5337, ask for Parts, then for Art. See what kind of price he'll give you. Be sure to tell him your with HTC. If you mention me he might give you a break..or charge you double.
 They aren't hard to put on. If I had gotten around to getting my tailgate shaved I would give you mine...looks like spring for that.

I sure hope so! In all fairness to Mary she wanted me to get the hood right after I bought the truck. She liked it on the old truck and knew it would look good on this one.

MDS take the inner plate off the tailgate and check to see if the handle is still attached. Mine came loose and would not open. Maybe the samething happened to you. Just something to check before you spend the money on a replacement.
