I used to live in Big Spring, Texas. Hail storms are a common occurance. It happens so often there that some of the employers have covered parking spots for every employee. And others will let their employees run home and park their cars in the garage and come back to work after the hail storm. Many people will keep pieces of carpet the their cars & they will cover their windshields during the night. The carpet prevents the windsheilds from being broken by hail.

For less severe hail damage I have been told that if you put dry ice on the area that will make the small ding come out. I have never myself tried this but I have heard it said pretty often. just thought I would throw that out there for the guys that live in areas where they get a lot of hail.

try using a hot air gun on the spots, (not a blow dryer) then using compressed air from a can of that keyboard cleaner stuff. the real hot plus the extreme freeze afterwards does work on a lot of puddled dents. Wink

The truck should be done soon, the little lady is going to check on it next week if the dealer doesnt call this week. Looking at what they charged my insurance company i see a new srt hood, new roof, two new front fenders, new front and rear passenger door panels, and new passenger side bed panel. Does all that really come off? I guess i'll see!

Well, the trucks done! Looks great from the pictures the little lady sent except the new tinted led tails i just put on were no longer tinted! The dealer said he noticed a crack and put some cheapo ones on until i could tell him what ones i had on there. I figure they gave mine to a buddy or someone that works there and put some ebay knock offs on mine so they could charge my insurance for some new ones! I was the only one in town with the tinted third brake led and tails so it should be easy to spot!
